TOP 5 CERTIFICATIONS FOR 2022

Based on market research and analysis, Logical Operations sees five exciting certifications that students will be looking to earn in 2022 and beyond.

Below you can find each certification, a description of what it covers, the students who will most likely be looking to earn the certification, and why we believe that it will be essential for you to offer.

CyberSec First Responder® (CFR-410)

  1. CFR-410 is the flagship cybersecurity certification on the market. Covering all five domains of the NIST Framework, the fourth iteration of CFR prepares candidates to identify, assess, respond to, and protect against security threats and operate a system and network security analysis platform.

  2. CFR-410 is for any student who is serious about a cybersecurity career. Typical students may have already taken basic IT certifications from you, and CFR-410 is a great way to bring them back in for another class.

  3. The cybersecurity skills gap still exists, and organizations are always looking to train their internal IT staff on the newest threats. The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) ecosystem from the Department of Defense will also be requiring any organization that does business with the DoD to improve their cybersecurity posture. That makes CFR a must-have for your IT and cybersecurity programs, as it offers students the most comprehensive certification on the market.

Cyber Secure Coder (CSC)

  1. The stakes for software security are extremely high with over 100 billion lines of software code being produced each year and 70% of code in apps composed of open-source software and third-party libraries, and yet many development teams are forced to address software security when a vulnerability has been exposed. CSC is the comprehensive certification for validating secure coding practices - for all developers, in all programming languages, on all platforms.

  2. CSC is for any student who has taken a programming course from you, or works in coding, software development, or QA inside an organization.

  3. With DevOps taking off in popularity and Security by Design/Security First principles becoming more important, the Software Development Life Cycle is now a major concern for organizations of all shapes and sizes. Coders need to know what’s in CSC. Software and application development is one of the hottest careers on the market, and CSC is another class you can offer to this red-hot opportunity.

Certified AI Practitioner (CAIP)

  1. The Certified Artificial Intelligence Practitioner (CAIP) training program is designed for data science practitioners entering the field of artificial intelligence (AI), who are seeking to build a vendor-neutral, cross-industry foundational knowledge of AI and Machine Learning (ML) concepts, technologies, algorithms, and applications that will enable them to become a capable practitioner in a wide variety of AI-related job functions.

  2. CAIP is for students who have a background in data science and are interested in entering the exciting world of artificial intelligence. If you’re offering data science classes, specifically in Python®, then this certification is the logical next step.

  3. Artificial intelligence is HOT. LinkedIn lists it as its hottest job on the market, and the uses for AI are endless in all industries. CAIP is one of only a handful of certifications currently available for artificial intelligence, and offering CAIP to your students can elevate your data science program above your competitors.

Certified Data Science Practitioner (CDSP)

  1. Data science has topped the LinkedIn Emerging Jobs list for the last 3 years with a projected growth of 28% annually. Harvard Business Review has identified data science as one of the “Sexiest Jobs in the 21st Century.” Certified Data Science Practitioner (CDSP) is a vendor-neutral, high stakes certification designed for programmers, data professionals and analysts seeking to validate their knowledge and skills in the area of data science.
  2.  CDSP is another data science certification for students who are looking to elevate their data science skillset and show they are capable of handling the most complicated DS projects.
  3. Data science is another HOT career, and CDSP is the perfect certification to offer to elevate your data science training program.

Certified Ethical Emerging Technologist™ (CEET)

  1. Certified Ethical Emerging Technologist™ (CEET) is designed for individuals seeking to demonstrate a vendor-neutral, cross-industry, and multidisciplinary understanding of applied technology ethics that will enable them to navigate the processes by which ethical integrity may be upheld within emerging data-driven technology fields (such as artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), and data science).

  2. This certification is perhaps the most interesting on this list. Ethics in technology is an incredibly timely topic. You don’t need to look very far to find discussions about this topic in government, private businesses, or just as a general, societal concern. Therefore, the student pool for this is really wide open, as anyone could be interested in becoming one of the first Certified Ethical Emerging Technologists.

  3. CEET has untapped potential as it is one of the first certifications of its kind. We know the topic is timely, we know that millions of organizations and governments are struggling with this idea of ethics in technology, and we know that this will be one of the defining issues of the next decade. You can now be one of the first to offer this groundbreaking certification, and help guide your students forward for years to come.
